Patikslintos Civilinio kodekso nuostatos dėl turistų
Seimas priėmė Civilinio kodekso 6.750, 6.751, 6.754 ir 6.865 straipsnių papildymo ir pakeitimo įstatymą (projektas Nr. XIP-675(2).
Priimtomis pataisomis derinamas kelionių organizavimo reglamentavimas Lietuvos Respublikos Civiliniame kodekse su Europos Sąjungos Tarybos Direktyva dėl kelionių, atostogų ir organizuotų išvykų paketų (90/314/EEC).

Priimtame įstatyme nustatyta, kad jeigu turistas atsisako sutarties dėl su juo susijusių aplinkybių, kurių jis negali kontroliuoti ir kurių sutarties sudarymo metu negalėjo protingai numatyti, kelionės organizatorius turi teisę reikalauti atlyginti patirtus tiesioginius nuostolius, padarytus dėl tokio atsisakymo, išskyrus atvejus, kai sutarties atsisakoma dėl nenugalimos jėgos aplinkybių. Nustatytais atvejais atlygintinų tiesioginių nuostolių dydis negalės viršyti sutartyje nustatytos kelionės kainos.

Kitu atveju, kai sutarties atsisakoma dėl aplinkybių, už kurias atsako kelionės organizatorius ar asmuo, kurio pagalba kelionės organizatorius naudojasi, arba dėl su turistu nesusijusių aplinkybių, kurių jis negali kontroliuoti ir kurių sutarties sudarymo metu negalėjo protingai numatyti, turistas turi teisę reikalauti, kad jam būtų grąžinti už kelionę sumokėti pinigai arba, jo sutikimu, kompensuota kitu būdu.

Taip pat įstatyme patikslintos nuostatos dėl viešbučių valdytojų materialinės atsakomybės ribojimo už sugadintą, sunaikintą ar prarastą svečių turtą. Nustatyta, kad kai turtas nėra perduotas viešbučiui saugoti, išskyrus atvejus, kai viešbutis atsisakė priimti saugoti turtą, kurį jam privaloma priimti saugoti, civilinę atsakomybę už viešbutyje apsigyvenusio asmens daiktų praradimą, trūkumą ar sugadinimą riboja viešbutyje apsigyvenusio asmens vienos nakvynės viešbutyje kaina, padauginta iš šimto. Civilinę atsakomybę už viešbutyje apsigyvenusio asmens vieno daikto praradimą, trūkumą ar sugadinimą riboja viešbutyje apsigyvenusio asmens vienos nakvynės viešbutyje kaina, padauginta iš penkiasdešimties.
