Džiugina vaikų šv.Kalėdų vaizdeliai 
Šiemet kaip niekad šilti Kauno apskrities vaikų sveikinimai pasklido po visą Lietuvą.  Mažųjų menininkų sukurtais originaliais atvirukais šv. Kalėdų ir artėjančių Naujųjų metų proga pasveikintos iškilios Kauno apskrities ir Lietuvos  asmenybės, politikai, užsienio valstybių ambasadoriai, akademinė ir meno bendruomenė.

Kauno apskrities viršininko administracija organizavo atvirukų konkursą „Kalėdinis linkėjimas iškiliai šalies asmenybei“, kuriame dalyvavo pavaldžių švietimo įstaigų moksleiviai, pagaminę beveik keturis šimtus išradingų atvirukų.
Apskrities viršininkės Onos Balžekienės inicijuoto konkurso idėja, kad vaikučių rankomis padaryti, kūrybos bei meilės pripildyti atvirukai, pasklisdami po Lietuvą, sušildytų visų širdis ir pažadintų Kalėdų viltį bei tikėjimą ateitimi, o jaunieji menininkai turėtų galimybę savo kūrinius patys įteikti iškilioms šalies asmenybėms.
Šiandien Kauno apskrities Juozo Naujalio muzikos gimnazijos auklėtinė Rūta Skudraitė savo sukurtą atviruką asmeniškai įteikė Kauno arkivyskupui Metropolitui Sigitui Tamkevičiui, pajuokaudama, jog muzikos gimnazijos moksleiviai ne tik muzikalūs, bet ir kūrybngi.
JE Sigitas Tamkevičius į Kauno arkivyskupiją atvykusioms gimnazistėms palinkėjo linksmų šv. Kalėdų ir prasmingos jaunystės. „Visada siekite savo tikslų bei juos įgyvendinkite“, - pabrėžė Kauno arkivyskupas Metropolitas.
 
Šią savaitę Kalėdų atvirukus asmeniškai įteiks dar trys Kauno apskrities įstaigų vaikai – atviruką su angelu, skirtą šalies Prezidentei, nupiešusi Kauno apskrities dailės gimnazijos 3 gimnazijos klasės auklėtinė Karolina Bielskytė, aštuntokė Viktorija Balsytė iš Kauno apskrities aklųjų ir silpnaregių ugdymo centro savo atviruką padovanos Seimo Pirmininkei, o Kauno apskrities kurčiųjų ir neprigirdinčiųjų ugdymo centro moksleivis Donatas Berneckis sukurtą sveikinimą įteiks Premjerui. Išrinkti geriausius atvirukus, skirtus šalies Prezidentei, Premjerui, Seimo Pirmininkei, Kauno arkivyskupui Metropolitui, padėjo Kauno apskrities dailės gimnazijos auklėtiniai.
