Antivirusiniai vaistai
Lietuva įsigijo 27 tūkstančius dozių vakcinos nuo pandeminio gripo. Padidintas antivirusinių vaistų rezervas su Nyderlandų Vyriausybe nupirkta vakcina.

Per praėjusiais metais kilusią pandeminio gripo epidemiją Lietuvoje šalies gydymo įstaigoms iš valstybės rezervo fondo buvo skirta antivirusinių vaistų, antibiotikų, medicinos pagalbos ir asmeninių apsaugos priemonių už daugiau kaip 4,5 milijono litų.

Valstybės rezervo materialiniams ištekliams iš dalies atkurti, vaistams ir medicinos įrangai bei medicinos priemonėms pirkti LR Vyriausybė 2009 m. gruodžio 9 d skyrė 3,5 milijono litų. Iš valstybės privatizavimo fondo Valstybinės pasirengimo gripo pandemijos programos vykdymui  buvo skirta 1 mln. 700 tūkst. litų. Sveikatos apsaugos ministerija iš savo vykdomų programų asignavimų  skyrė 1 mln. Lt.  Už 1 mln. 700 tūkst. buvo nupirkta antivirusinių vaistų, o už 1 mln. – vakcinos nuo pandeminio gripo.  

Prieš prasidedant naujo tipo gripo epidemijai, valstybės rezerve antivirusinių vaistų buvo sukaupta tiek, kad jų galėjo pakakti per 3 proc. šalies gyventojų, dabar atstačius  valstybės rezervo fondą,  šis skaičius yra 6,6 proc.
