Arkados universitetas yra priskiriamas prie jaunų taikomųjų mokslų universitetų. Patalpos modernios, erdvios, pritaikytos ir studentų, ir dėstytojų poreikiams. Kineziterapijos programos direktorė supažindino su programomis, aprodė pratybų sales su naujausia įranga, baseiną.

Direktorė pabrėžė, kad kineziterapijos programa – viena populiariausių universitete. Ergoterapijos programos direktorė pristatė modulius, kuriuos studijuoja studentai. Daug dėmesio ir kreditų skiriama studentų praktikoms.

Universitete įrengti modernūs ergoterapijos mokymo kambariai, kuriuose studentai gali įgyti praktinių įgūdžių. Suomijoje slaugytojų rengimo sistema, kaip ir Lietuvoje, dvinarė, tačiau kelianti mažiau diskusijų dėl praktikos ir teorijos integracijos.

Slaugytojos, kurios nori dirbti klinikinį darbą, privalo baigti taikomųjų mokslų universitetinę programą, o tos, kurios nori vadovauti ar tęsti mokslinę veiklą – teorinį universitetą. Slaugos programos studentai taip pat turi puikias sąlygas ir teorines žinias įgyti, ir praktinius įgūdžius įtvirtinti. Yra įrengtos puikios simuliacinės klasės.

Mums teko stebėti, kaip vyksta simuliaciniai užsiėmimai. Jų metu studentai gali taikyti ir pademonstruoti visas įgytas žinias, o dėstytojai – susidaryti išsamų vaizdą apie silpnąsias ir stipriąsias būsimųjų medikų puses. Studijų ir socialinė sistema universitete yra labai palanki studentams: kiekvienas jų gali studijuoti pagal individualų grafiką, už studijas moka valstybė. Taip pat valstybė dengia didžiąją dalį maitinimo, gyvenimo ir transporto išlaidų. Bet dėstytoja pažymėjo, kad tokia gera socialinė sistema visiškai nemotyvuoja studentų laiku baigti studijų, o priešingai – skatina kuo ilgiau likti universitete.

Rosa-Linea – tinklas, vienijantis šiaurės šalių slaugos, kineziterapijos ir ergoterapijos dėstytojus. Tai – puiki galimybė ir dėstytojams, ir studentams pasikeisti patirtimi, idėjomis, naujais darbais.
