VAIKŲ SVEIKATOS STIPRINIMO 2008-2012 METŲ PROGRAMA
Vyriausybės posėdyje patvirtinta Vaikų sveikatos stiprinimo 2008-2012 metų programa. Šios programos paskirtis – tobulinti vaikų sveikatos ugdymą, aplinkos sveikatinimą, ligų ir traumų profilaktiką bei kontrolę. Lietuva nuo 1993 metų Sveikatos apsaugos ministerijos oficialiu prašymu yra Europos sveikatą stiprinančių mokyklų tinklo narė, tačiau ši veikla Lietuvoje neapima visų tipų mokyklų, nėra koordinuota ir sisteminė, nepakankamai integruota į esamas struktūras nacionaliniu ir savivaldybių lygmeniu.
Vaikų sveikatos stiprinimo 2008-2012 metų programa parengta įgyvendinant Lietuvos Respublikos visuomenės sveikatos priežiūros įstatymo nuostatas. Šia programa siekiama plėtoti vaikų sveikatos stiprinimo veiklą didinant specialistų, dirbančių su vaikais, kompetenciją, telkiant sveikatos stiprinimo veiklai valstybės ir savivaldybių institucijas, mokyklų bendruomenes ir socialinius partnerius, plėtojant sveikatą stiprinančių mokyklų tinklą, skleidžiant tokios veiklos patirtį bei gerinant jos kokybę.
Įgyvendinant programą bus kuriama vaikų sveikatą palaikanti aplinka, ugdomos vaikų sveikos gyvensenos nuostatos bei gebėjimai, tobulinamas vaikų ligų ir traumų pirminės profilaktikos organizavimas. Su vaikais dirbantiems specialistams bus parengtos mokyklinio amžiaus vaikų sveikos mitybos, fizinio aktyvumo, lėtinių neinfekcinių ligų rizikos veiksnių profilaktikos bei kt. metodinės rekomendacijos.
Pasaulio sveikatos organizacijos duomenimis efektyvios yra tik kompleksinės ir daugiasektorinės sveikatos stiprinimo programos, kurių veiksmai yra suderinti nacionaliniu, vietos ir individo lygmeniu. Tikimasi, kad Vaikų sveikatos stiprinimo programos rezultatai bus ilgalaikiai, nulemiantys vaikų sveikatos raidą.
