Norvegijos religija ir kultūra
Norvegijoje buvo primityvūs senoviniai mitai. Nuo 1030m. karalius Ulvas Šventasis, ryžtinga ranka įvedė šalyje krikščionybę. Šiuolaikinė valstybinė religija Norvegijoje priklauso liuteronų – reformatų bažnyčiai, bet šalyje yra ir kitų religinių bendruomenių.

Po XVI a. Sudėtingų religinių ir politinių konfliktų šalyje pagaliau įsitvirtino protestantų tikėjimas, iš dalies jis formavo šalį. Ramybė, funkcionavimas, racionalumas, išorinio puošnumo ir blizgesio vertinimas – šie protestantizmo principai persmelkia visą Norvegijos kasdienybę.

Kultūra

Vikingai buvo garsūs savo kariniais žygiais, bet ne visi žino, kad jie užsiiminėjo prekyba ir dalyvavo kultūros vystymesi tarp šiaurinių tautų. Išlikę nedaugelis vikingų laivų detalių, buitinių detalių ir papuošimų, rodo aukštą kultūros lygį.  Tuo galima įsitikinti žiūrint į to periodo medines cerkves.

Dauguma norvegų poilsiauja gamtoje, kuri yra turtinga augalija ir gyvūnija. Šeimos sportas yra ypač populiarus, norvegai teigia, kad slidinėjimas kaip tik ir kilęs iš šios šalies.
