Bendruomenių pilietiškumas - ekonominė atgaiva
Lietuvos Respublikos Prezidentė Dalia Grybauskaitė susitiko su viena stipriausių Suvalkijoje - Kazlų Rūdos savivaldybės Antanavo kaimo - bendruomenės atstovais, aptarė vietos bendruomenių veiklos bei verslo plėtros perspektyvas ir galimybes gauti bei naudotis Europos Sąjungos fondų parama.

Valstybės vadovė Antanavo bendruomenę siūlo laikyti pavyzdžiu visai Lietuvai, nes ji, spręsdama savo problemas, sugeba pasinaudoti Europos Sąjungos parama ir užsidirbti. Prezidentė taip pat pabrėžė, kad didelę pagarbą kelia bendruomenė, kuri pilietiškai sugeba kontroliuoti vietos valdžią ir reikalauti iš jos atsakomybės.

"Norėčiau, kad visa Lietuva sugebėtų taip tvarkytis, kaip tai daro Antanavo bendruomenė", - sakė Prezidentė Dalia Grybauskaitė, akcentuodama bendruomenės pilietiškumą, iniciatyvumą ir veiklumą. Pasak valstybės vadovės, tokios iniciatyvos ir bendruomenės turi sulaukti deramo dėmesio ir palaikymo.

Šalies vadovė atkreipė dėmesį, kad šiandieninės ekonomikos sąlygomis ypatingą dėmesį būtina skirti verslumui didinti ir paslaugų teikimo sferai plėsti. Pasak Prezidentės, socialinių paslaugų tiekimas turėtų būti perduotas vietos bendruomenėms, kurios yra arčiausiai žmonių, žino jų poreikius ir turi realias galimybes tuos poreikius patenkinti.

Prezidentės teigimu, socialinių paslaugų teikimo monopolis lemia šių paslaugų brangumą, neefektyvumą ir atotrūkį nuo realių žmonių poreikių.

Prezidentė D. Grybauskaitė akcentavo, jog veiklioms kaimo bendruomenėms, siekiančioms įgyvendinti savo projektus, būtina užtikrinti galimybę pasinaudoti Europos Sąjungos fondų parama. Todėl, pasak valstybės vadovės, paprastas ir skaidrus ES paramos paskirstymas bei galimybė aktyvioms bendruomenėms šią paramą gauti būtų didžiulė paspirtis ir paskatinimas joms plėtoti įvairias ūkio sritis.

"Tik palaikydami žmonių iniciatyvą, jų pastangas dirbti ir užsidirbti, galime tikėtis, kad greitu laiku nedarbas šalyje ims mažėti ir žmonės galės lengvaiu atsikvėpti", - sakė Prezidentė.

Šiandien valstybės vadovė susitiko ir su ūkininkais Gižų bendruomenės centre. Tęsdama viešnagę Suvalkijoje, Prezidentė susitiks su Vilkaviškio bendruomenių sąjungos atstovais, lankysis J.Basanavičiaus gimtinėje.
